Library has always been described as the heart of the College. It has been called the brain of the academic body, the scholar’s workshop etc. Library has become so important that renowned scholars judged the quality of education by the quality of library service in the College.
The higher education is depended upon the libraries for successfully implementation of its academic programmes. The primary aim of the education is to impart specialized and advanced knowledge to the students and enable them to acquire competence and skill in various fields of human activity. It helps them to develop their sound personality.
The main objectives of the college library are :

To provide information sources and services to the students, faculty members and the staff.

To aid the teachers to be abreast of the latest development in their area of specification.

To develop the reading habit among the students and sharpen their intellectual curiosity. A country can only develop if the people are educated.

Library Timings:
Reading Room – 8.30 to 5.00 p.m.
Circulation – 10.00 to 4.00 p.m.
Lunch – 1.00 to 1.30 p.m.
Library Rules :

Identity card is compulsory to all the students enrolled.

Every Enrolled student is a member of Library.

Two books at a time will be issued to the students.

Issued books must be returned on or before the due date.
-
Delay in returning the books within 7 days will make student liable to the fine Rs. 1/- per day.

In case of loss of book the price should be recover from the user.
-
Photocopy of any library reading material is available as and when required.
